To all the internet “peeps” meeting up in Conway have fun and kick ass this weekend.
5 days till “Miami 70.3 Ironman” and tomorrow im find out where i’ll be assigned to helpout. Crossing my fingers for body markup ;)
This past saturday was an optional meet for those who wanted to help out with the goodie bags and preparing the envelopes that have the stickers, 2 bibs, chip, etc
We met up 10am and the event coordinators were very nice and express their thanks...

cleaning up my cd collection and digging up my Christmas CD’s. Love those Starbucks xmas cd’s. Is it to early, do you think?
I loved to jump on the “soaring wings” bandwagon, but im no where near prepare to tackle it.

Ironman Miami
Forgot to share I’ll be volunteering for the Ironman Miami on October 30th in downtown. Im excited its the first time i’ve volunteer for a race event. Our first meeting is this saturday we will be preparing the goodie bags for the volunteers and athletes.
I’ll share more after our 1st meet. Happy “hump” day!

I accomplished my goal today. I finished a half marathon in under 2 hours. I can’t even begin to tell you how proud I am. I cried. I’m on such a high right now!

Race for the Cure 2011
Hey everyone happy saturday!! Let me start first wishing everyone good luck on their races this weekend and congrats too.
Im back from walking the Race for Cure first time every with the madre. So happy I did it and walked away with like my friend said a “rewarding feeling”. I even got emotional with the Survivors Ceremony…how cant you. “Wow” those ladies are...
Excited picked up my race packet for Saturday’s “Race for Cure”. Its my first time participating in this event, looking forward to it. I will be walking it with my ”madre” and were doing it in honor of my Aunt who’s a Survivor.
Good morning!! Taking a minute here to wishing everyone who’s doing marathons today the best of luck. Its been so motivating reading the posts so far of those who finished and sharing their time or medals.

just had a nice curry shrimp dinner, and now enjoy a glass of merlot. Im feeling good.
